Lime Rock Park Gathering 2001

On August 11th, we met for our sixth year at Lime Rock Park near Lakeville Connecticut.

Lime Rock Park has seen Merkurs on the track since the late 80's. Once again this year, Merkurs took to the track for their courtesy parade laps - at about 65 mph! This is a great way to have a first hand view of the track at a safe speed. Many Merkur owners have been "bitten" by the track bug after this experience. This year, the SCCA regional even and the go kart races kept attendees busy. The NE Austin Healey club staged one of their major gatherings along with the Merkur Club of America. They had over 60 beautiful cars there. Join us again next year for this fun-filled event!
